The organizing committee of the 2024 Chengdu Marathon, which is to kick off on October 27, has publicized the route of the event.
The 2024 Chengdu Marathon will follow the Classic Route for the event of last year that runs across all the seven districts in urban Chengdu, linking the landmark constructions such as Chunxi Road, Tianfu Tower, Wangjianglou Park, Xinhua Park, Sichuan University Museum and Global Center. The running course boasts perfect conditions for the competition and offers captivating sights along its way for the participants of the event to have a close contact with cultures, historic heritages of the city and its development achievements.
The East Asian Half Marathon Championship and the National Half Marathon Championship (the 5th Station) will be held at the same time during the event, with its starting point at Jinsha Site Museum, a showcase of the history of the ancient Shu Kingdom that dates back to 3, 200 years ago, and the finishing point for the half marathon at Sichuan University Museum and that for the full marathon at Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Qintai Road
A landmark sightseeing spot with rich historic and cultural atmosphere, around which there are a number of tourist attractions including Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Qingyang Palace and Wenhua Park.
