Tianjin International School (TIS) is a school for foreign nationals registered with the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission. Founded in 1985, it provides a formal American-style education for the school-age children of expatriates working and living in Tianjin. The school offers a complete educational program from Preschool through Grade 12, divided into Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions, and follows the AP curriculum. Since 1992, TIS has held accreditation from U.S. educational and academic accreditation agencies.
