Wuhan University Participates in the 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP)

On October 21–22, the 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals was held at the Shanghai Expo Center. Yuan Yufeng, Vice President of Wuhan University, attended the conference. With the theme “Gathering Global Talents for Win‑Win Cooperation,” the event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs) and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. More than 2,600 foreign experts from over 110 countries and regions were present at the opening ceremony.

During the conference, the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering of Wuhan University hosted the “High‑Level Dialogue on Advanced Remote Sensing and Sustainable Development.” The session brought together more than ten experts and scholars from eight countries, including Lena Halounova, President of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), and Daniel Rosenfeld, Academician of the European Academy of Sciences. Participants exchanged views on frontier research advances, enhanced international academic communication in the field of remote sensing, and laid a foundation for future collaboration. The event also featured the release of a large remote‑sensing model, an exhibition of related equipment and products, and concluded with a visit by the experts to companies for on‑site observation and exchange.

Representatives from Wuhan University’s International Exchange Department and the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering took part in the conference.
