Shanghai 2026.04.18 - 2026.05.10The 2026 Shanghai International Flower Show offers more than just a feast for the eyes. Running from April 18 to May 10, it presents an immersive spring carnival where visitors can shop, enjoy the arts, stay active, and discover playful pet-themed installations, all set against a backdrop of blooming flowers.
01 Looking to shop and explore flower markets?
During the flower show, 34 commercial zones across the city are joining with special promotions, limited-edition gifts, and more than 30 markets.

All have been transformed into spring flower streets, offering floral crafts and creative cultural products.

The flower show also features special sales of fresh flowers from Yunnan province at over 20 locations throughout the city, including Gucheng Park, Xujiahui Park, Shanghai Zoo, Gongqing Forest Park, and Xintiandi.
Creative souvenirs are available at the main and branch venues, including fruit-scented candles and flower show-themed plush toys. Time-honored brands such as Laofengxiang and Shen Da Cheng have also launched flower-themed products, from floral gold jewelry to flower-inspired pastries.
02 Looking for live performances?

The main and branch venues will host a variety of events, including a nature lifestyle festival, lawn concerts, art exhibitions, and a coffee and reading festival.
Qiantan Sports Park will present two major concerts on April 25 and from May 2 to 3.
At Gucheng Park in Huangpu and on the streets of Xintiandi, visitors can enjoy traditional opera, pop music, dance, and instrumental performances.
Sinan Mansions will feature six flower art photo spots, over 100 market stalls, and 100 live music performances from April 30 to May 4.
03 Looking to get active?
The flower show has integrated sports into its program, combining fitness routes with travel itineraries to promote a healthy, low-carbon lifestyle.
Huangpu district has partnered with Meituan to offer shared bikes with exclusive designs. Several cycling routes connect the main venue, commercial areas, and the riverside, allowing riders to pedal through flower fields with the spring breeze in their faces.
Walking routes are also available in Huangpu, Jing'an, and Xuhui districts, offering a relaxing way to enjoy gardens and riverside paths.
Shanghai Gongqing Forest Park will host a forest half-marathon, providing a chance to exercise and unwind amid blooming landscapes.
04 Looking for the giant flower dog?

The flower show features several pet-themed art pieces. At Suhewan MixC World area in Jing'an district, a 5.2-meter-tall plant sculpture of a West Highland White Terrier has already gone viral. Crafted with needle grass for its fur, blue fescue for its paws, and succulents on its mouth and tail, the sculpture provides a playful photo opportunity with the Lujiazui skyline in the background.
Along the Xuhui riverside path, a 3-kilometer flower corridor stretches along the bank, complemented by whimsical cat sculptures.
The flower route in Pudong's Qiantan area is especially family-friendly, with a flower-themed puppy and a giant pink rabbit waiting to be discovered.
