Jiangsu facilitates visits for foreign business personnel

Jan 16, 2025

Suzhou

The Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government will facilitate visa application for companies inviting foreign business personnel for short-term visits.

Under this new service, foreign business personnel who frequently engage in commercial and trade activities in Jiangsu and contribute positively to the province’s international cooperation, along with their spouses and children, can apply for a Chinese visa that allows multiple entries for five years with a stay of up to 180 days.
To apply for this service, enterprises need to submit the relevant materials to the local foreign affairs office, which then reports to the provincial level and awaits approval for issuing an invitation letter. Foreign nationals can then apply for a visa at Chinese diplomatic missions abroad using the invitation letter and other required documents.

The Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government said it will process applications within 3-5 working days and does not charge a fee for this service.
