Dr. Jürgen Häring, president of Haering Precision (Taicang) Co., Ltd. and owner of Anton Häring KG, recently received the 2025 Chinese Government Friendship Award. He is the first foreign expert in Taicang's history to achieve this distinction.

The Chinese Government Friendship Award is the highest honor to commend foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to China's socialist modernization as well as exchanges and cooperation with other countries.

The Häring Group, headquartered in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a market leader in precision manufacturing. Haering Precision (Taicang) Co., Ltd. was established in 2004, serving as the group's first factory in China and its only production base in Asia. It primarily supplies precision components to globally renowned companies such as Bosch, United Automotive Electronic Systems (UAES), and Volkswagen.

In August this year, the group reinvested its profits to develop intelligent automotive chassis systems and core components for robotic actuators. The group has also deeply engaged in local education initiatives by establishing a dual vocational training center, founding a Sino-German friendship kindergarten, and setting up the Häring Scholarship Fund. While steering the company toward high-quality development, Dr. Jürgen Häring has actively promoted Sino-German exchanges in culture, education, and other fields, building a bridge for international cooperation.

Dr. Jürgen Häring expressed the depth of his gratitude for this award, stating, "China is not only a vital market for the Häring Group but also a fertile ground for innovation and collaboration. I will remain committed to fostering Sino-German exchanges in technology and talent and contribute further to the sustainable development of Taicang and China."

The "Hometown of German Companies in China" has become a dazzling calling card for Taicang. Latest statistics show that Taicang now boasts over 560 German-invested enterprises. Those in the manufacturing sector account for one-tenth of the nation's total, among which more than 60 companies are hidden champions.
