Tickets for the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway are now available for purchase, marking a significant step toward its official launch. According to the official 12306 app, the fare for a second-class seat from Zhanjiang North Station to Guangzhou Baiyun Station will be under 300 yuan, with the lowest price starting at 247 yuan.

Spanning 401 kilometers with a design speed of 350 km/h, this new rail line connects key cities in Guangdong province, including Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Yunfu, Yangjiang, Maoming, and Zhanjiang. The initial phase of operation will include seven stations: Xinxing South, Yangchun East, Yangjiang North, Mata, Maoming South, Wuchuan, and Zhanjiang North, with terminals at Guangzhou Baiyun Station and Zhanjiang North Station.
Upon opening, the railway will operate at speeds of up to 350 km/h. In the initial phase, up to 64 high-speed trains will run daily, drastically reducing travel time between key destinations:
- Guangzhou Baiyun to Zhanjiang North: approximately 1 hour and 32 minutes
- Guangzhou Baiyun to Maoming South: approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes
This represents a 61-minute reduction compared to the current fastest route via Jiangmen.
