Recently, Hangzhou Metro’s Guanyintang Station introduced a cart rental service to help passengers transport large items, especially those heading to the popular Sijiqing Market. At Exit B2 of the station, self-service rental carts are now available. Each cart can carry up to 50 kilograms and is designed for convenient in-station use.
On the top of that, a similar luggage-cart service is also available at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Metro Station. Passengers carrying multiple or oversized bags can find carts near the metro exit gates and service counters, making it easier to transfer luggages to the terminal.
Meanwhile, Hangzhou Metro has launched the “EasyGo” self-service luggage storage system. At 39 stations near scenic spots and transport hubs, 42 luggage storage sites with a total of 398 lockers have been installed. These lockers allow both locals and tourists to enjoy the city hands-free. However, passengers should remember to retrieve their luggage before the station closes for the day.
Caught in the rain without an umbrella? Don’t worry--every station of Hangzhou Metro offers the convenient umbrella rental service. With a deposit of 20 yuan per umbrella, passengers can borrow up to three at a time and must return them within seven days.
