April 15, 2025, the upgraded English-language portal of the Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office website officially resumed operation

The upgraded version of the English website focuses on high-quality content and intelligent services, with newly added sections such as "Guangzhou International Neighbourhoods" and Canton Fair Highlights. The website continues to enhance core functions including policy guidance for foreign-related matters and cultural tourism promotion. With richer content, more diverse formats, and an improved search experience, the upgrade aims to better serve global users.

Since its launch in 2017, the English Website of the Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office has developed a comprehensive information service system built around five major sections: Global Exchanges, Business, Expat Services, Bay Area Bond, and In Focus.   It attracts over one million visits annually and has been recognized as one of the top-performing international government websites in China for many consecutive years.
