Join free bilingual city walk to admire HZ’s plum blossoms

The season for plum blossom blooming has arrived in Hangzhou. As the chill gradually fades, the plum blossoms emit their enchanting fragrance, filling this ancient and beautiful city. On the banks of West Lake or amidst the trees by the Broken Bridge, every plum blossom seems to tell the story of winter to spring.

In this season of blooming plum blossoms, Cosmotour, an international tourist club of Zhejiang Gongshang University, offers various interesting weekly activities for friends from around the world.

Let us join on March 1st the friends from Cosmotour, an international tourist club of Zhejiang Gongshang University that host various interesting weekly activities for internationals , to have a city walk among the freshness and tranquility brought by the plum blossoms!

This event is an 7.5-kilometer Citywalk, designed for a leisurely and relaxed flower-watching experience, with no uphill climbing involved. The Cosmotour team has prepared a bilingual ice-breaking session for everyone, so you won’t have to worry about travelling alone. In addition, this itinerary includes a session for appreciating plum blossoms and offers the opportunity to experience the traditional heritage cultural of horse rubbing printing. The entire journey is relaxing and enjoyable. During the trip, Cosmotour will incorporate interactive photography activities to enhance bilingual communication among participants.

The first stop is Gushan Park (Solitary Hill). As a famous landmark of West Lake, Gushan is the largest island in the lake. Although the mountain is not very high, it offers the best vantage point for appreciating the scenery of West Lake.
The second stop is Xiling Bridge. The Bridge is located between the foothills of Xialing Mountain and Gushan. Here, people can enjoy a close view of the Inner Lake and a distant view of the Outer Lake.
The third stop is Quyuan Fenghe (Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden), located on the western side of West Lake. Quyuan Fenghe is a prime spot for viewing lotus flowers in the summer and a beautiful sight to see in any other season of the year.
The fourth stop is the Hangzhou Flower Nursery. Located in front of West Lake and backed by Xishan Mountain, it boasts a beautiful environment and is hailed as "a pearl by West Lake."
The fifth stop is Hangzhou Botanical Garden. Here, visitors can admire thousands of plum trees with blooming blossoms, which have recently attracted many tourists
The final stop is Lingfeng Tanmei (Admiring Plum Blossoms at Lingfeng). Located at the foot of Lingfeng Mountain on the western side of West Lake, this famous plum blossom viewing spot is now at its peak bloom. Let’s conclude this journey with the blossoming plums!
