Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1.Market Intelligence Gathering and Analysis
oContinuously collect, organize, and analyze overseas chemical market trends, competitor activities, and potential investment opportunities.
oPeriodically submit market analysis reports and feasibility studies to support Head Office decision-making.
2.Client Liaison and Relationship Management
oMaintain relationships with existing overseas clients, acting as the primary communication bridge between the Head Office and the client.
oReceive and filter client inquiries, accurately transferring commercial requirements (such as quotation requests, contracts, and orders) to the Head Office Sales Team for direct handling.
3.Regional Coordination and Promotion
oAssist the Head Office with product promotion and brand awareness via online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) and international trade exhibitions.
oCoordinate the flow of information between the Head Office and internal production, quality inspection, and logistics teams to ensure Head Office is fully informed on order and delivery progress.
4.Administrative and Regulatory Support
oMonitor and report on the latest changes to Malaysian import/export and industry-specific regulations.
oArrange and assist Head Office personnel (including executives) with business visit itineraries to local and regional clients.
5.Complete other non-commercial liaison tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

1.Hard Skills & Qualifications
oEducation & Major: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
2.Experience Requirements
oMinimum 1 year of experience in market research, trade coordination, or industry liaison, familiar with chemical product characteristics and international trade procedures.
oProven experience in independently compiling market research reports or managing regional coordination is preferred.
3.Language Proficiency
oFluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken), capable of clearly and professionally relaying complex information; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
4.Professional Skills
oFamiliar with the basic concepts of International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) and Malaysian import/export regulations.
oProficient in using Microsoft Office software for data analysis and report writing.
